Hello all! Emerson Brooks here.
Writing a late (or early depending on how you look at it) post to tell everyone what my beat is. I would like my beat to focus on the sciences at CSU and perhaps even Fort Collins if I can get the right connections.
I want to try and dig in on various research projects that the school is doing that hopefully no one else is informed of yet. I'm not entirely sure which sciences to focus on, since just having a beat on "sciences" is a bit too broad, but I will probably investigate the physics department, engineering, biology, etc.
My first story will actually be about meteorologists working with researchers in CSU. I have two interviews worked out, so hopefully I will have some good information soon!
It's going to be a hard beat...but I'll do my best to cover it!
